Derek Phillips is a American stage, television and screen actor born in Miami, Florida. He provides the voice of Mark Jefferson in Life Is Strange.[1]


Phillips attended Baylor University and received a BFA in acting. Following graduation, he moved to New York and began a professional acting career in television and regional theatre throughout the United States. Phillips has stared in such plays such as the The Winter's Tale at the Baltimore Center Stage, Of Mice and Men at the Dallas Theater Center and King 'o The Moon. In 2002 landed a reoccurring roles in The Guiding Light, As the World Turns and All My Children. In 2006 he starred in the NBC drama, Friday Night Lights as Billy Reggins.

With regard to voice work, Phillips provided his voice to the character Lord Travor Pendleton in Dishonored and starred in the critically panned Gearbox game Aliens: Colonial Marines.
