San Francisco, officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the cultural, commercial, and financial center of Northern California. The only consolidated city-county in California, San Francisco encompasses a land area of about 46.9 square miles (121 km2) on the northern end of the San Francisco Peninsula, giving it a density of about 18,187 people per square mile (7,022 people per km2). It is the most densely settled large city (population greater than 200,000) in the state of California and the second-most densely populated major city in the United States after New York City.

Remember Me

When Antoine Cartier-Wells was given a scholarship to study abroad in the United States, he headed for Los Angeles. While he was there he founded Memorize, a small company that he would use as jumping point to launch his invention, the Sensation Engine, technology that would allow humans to share or manipulate their memories.[1][2]

While he was there, he met his future wife, Molly, who was one of the first test the limits of his Sensation Engine. She eventually began working him to further formulate the idea behind the technology and promote it, making deals with other businesses.[3] Following the death of Molly in 2019, Antoine officially relocated Memorize headquarters, now a booming center of the his corporation, to Hyderabad, India.[4]

Life Is Strange

Before their daughter, Chloe Price, was born, William and Joyce Price visited San Francisco. They took a photograph together in front of the Golden Gate Bridge.[5]

Several years later, in 2013 photography teacher, Mark Jefferson announced to his class that the Everyday Heroes Contest will be held in San Francisco at the DeYoung Museum.[6][5]
